Vision Correction Procedures

At LASIK MD, we offer a full range of vision correction procedures best suited for every pair of eyes.

We are among the few laser vision correction centres that offer such comprehensive care to our patients:

Lasik surgery

The most common laser vision correction procedure; LASIK surgery consists of creating a flap in the cornea with a microkeratome and using a laser to reshape the underlying cornea.

Standard LASIK

This is the standard LASIK procedure.

These procedures can also be used to correct lens opacities, presbyopia and, in certain cases, some astigmatism. IOL procedures usually involve the replacement of the internal lens of the eye, with the exception of EVO Visian ICL™ lens, which is positioned directly in front of the eye’s crystalline lens.

Cataract

A surgery that replaces a cataract patient’s opaque lens with a clear artificial lens implant.

Refractive Lens Exchange
