Dr. Stephen Whiteside, MD
Over 65,000 LASIK and PRK procedures performed
Dr. Whiteside received his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine. He completed military training in aviation and aerospace medicine, and also served as a Navy flight surgeon. With over 25 years of experience in laser vision correction and intraocular lens surgery, he has held leadership roles at various LASIK clinics and participated in FDA clinical trials. Dr. Whiteside has received numerous awards, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology’s Special Recognition and Leadership Achievement Awards.
Dr. Farhan A. Irshad, MD, FACS
Over 10,000 LASIK and PRK procedures performed
Dr. Irshad completed a double major at Washington University, earned his medical degree from the University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center, and underwent residency and fellowship training at Tulane Medical Center. He specializes in LASIK, laser cataract and lens exchange surgery, refractive lens exchange, implantable collamer lens surgery (as a Staar® certified doctor) and microinvasive glaucoma surgery. Dr. Irshad is also a part of the Clinical Faculty at Dell Medical School, a published researcher, and an active community service volunteer.
