FAQ Video: What happens if I move or blink during the surgery?

During a LASIK MD webinar, someone asked “What happens if I move or blink during the surgery?” LASIK MD’s Dr. Avi Wallerstein has the answer. Dr. Wallerstein says there’s no risk if you move or blink during the surgery. He says the laser technology has a tracking system that follows the eye. Dr. Wallerstein says if a patient moves their eye more than 1mm, then the laser shuts off. He says the surgeon can take a break during the surgery if the patient needs to cough or sneeze.
