I had worn glasses since I was a child and was tired of the inconvenience. Whether I was traveling for work, on the set at MuchMusic, being active or simply going through my daily routine – glasses and contact lenses were always a hassle.
I eventually decided to get laser vision correction, so I started shopping around for a LASIK centre. The LASIK MD clinic was welcoming and the staff was very friendly. I was also surprised by how much the other laser eye centres were charging for the same technology and procedure.
I was a little nervous on the day of my procedure, but also very excited. The LASIK MD staff and surgeon were very reassuring and answered all of my questions. The procedure was so quick and painless – it was over before I knew it!
And that was it! A simple and effective 10 minute procedure and now I’m living life with clear vision. I've always dreamed of surfing without fear of losing a contact lens in the ocean – now the waves are crystal clear. From amazing outdoor concerts and going to the beach, to simply waking up and seeing the alarm clock – I love the benefits and freedom of my new vision! It’s truly been life changing.
