Driving Directions

LASIK MD is located at 1281 West Georgia Street.

From the Canada/United States Border Crossing at Peace Arch

• Take the Interstate 5 to Peace Arch Crossing – the Interstate becomes Highway #99 in Canada.
• Travel North on Highway #99 and enter Vancouver via the Oak Street Bridge.
• Continue North on Oak Street through Vancouver and turn left on West Broadway.
• Travel West and turn right onto Burrard Street.
• Take Burrard Street Bridge through Downtown Vancouver.
• Turn left on Alberni Street.
• Turn right on Bute Street.
• Turn left on West Georgia Street and you will find the LASIK MD clinic on your right hand side.
• Approximate driving time: 1 hour.

From Vancouver International Airport (YVR)

• After exiting Airport, follow signs to Vancouver City Centre.
• Cross Arthur Laing Bridgeand use Granville Street Exit.
• Travel North on Granville Street and cross GranvilleStreet Bridge.
• Take Seymour Street Exit at end of bridge and turn left at West Georgia Street.
• The clinic is located at 1281 West Georgia Street betweenBute and Jervis Streetson the right hand side.
• Approximate driving time: 45 minutes.

From Fraser Valley and Interior BC

• Take the Provincial Route 1 W/Trans Canada Highway W.
• Take the Highway 7A/Hastings Street exit – exit number 26.
• Stay straight to get onto ramp.
• Turn left onto E Hastings Street/Provincial Route 7A.
• Turn left onto Burrard Street/Provincial Route 7A.
• Continue to follow Burrard Street.
• Turn right onto W Georgia Street/Provincial Route 1A E/Provincial Route 99.

Parking

There is ample street parking (metered) in front of the clinic on West Georgia Street until 3:00PM. After this time, metered parking is available Jervis Street. Don’t forget to bring twonies and loonies!

There is also covered parking (Impark) at Bute and Robson Streets for a fee of approximately $7.00. This lot is one block east and two blocks south from the centre.

On Saturday and Sunday, street parking on the even side of West Georgia Street (across from the clinic) is free.

Car Rentals

Vehicle rentals can be made through Enterprise Auto Rentals at 900 West Georgia Street.

City Buses and Bus Lines

With a metropolitan population of 2.5 million people, Vancouver boasts an incredible public transportation system. The region offers rail transport from the Fraser Valley into the city and return on The West Coast Express.

The main public transportation system is supplied by Translink. On their website, passengers can find all schedules for buses, seabus (passenger ferry service between North Vancouver and the city centre across Burrard Inlet) and skytrain (an elevated train service servicing the major areas of the Greater Vancouver Regional District).
