The Bausch & Lomb Technolas 217z is a 5th generation, scanning-spot laser equipped with an eye tracker that is capable of treating the entire cornea.
The Bausch & Lomb Technolas 217z is equipped with an extremely responsive eye tracker, which monitors very fine micro-movements of your eye during LASIK eye surgery, allowing each laser spot to be delivered exactly where it is intended.
US FDA clinical studies results show that, following LASIK eye surgery with the Bausch & Lomb Technolas 217z laser, 99.7% of patients see 20/40 or better* without glasses or contact lenses. 20/40 is the legal requirement for being able to drive without correction.
