LASIK MD Laser Eye SurgeryLaser Thermokeratoplasty (LTK) Vision Correction

Laser thermokeratoplasty (LTK) is an FDA-approved vision correction procedure to correct nearsightedness or hyperopia. Guided by a computer, laser spots are placed in a symmetrical fashion around the mid-periphery of the cornea in order to steepen the cornea. The eye surgery procedure is done without touching the eye.

Due to certain drawbacks, LASIK MD laser eye surgeons have decided not to perform this vision correction procedure at their clinics.
