I really can’t say enough on how I was treated by all the people that work at LASIK MD, from the moment I entered to the last time I was there for a visit to have my eyes checked. I have had twenty three operations due to a serious accident in 1986 and have been in contact with all different types of doctors and nurses during these years and every time I have, there have been one or more that really should find other means of income. This is the first for me to be able to say that the way I was treated was first rate. All the people are simply great and I really feel like they have an honest concern for each and every client.
I have been so excited since my operation that I must have told a hundred people about what a fantastic result I have had, and a couple of people have made appointments with your clinic. You provide a service that has had a very large impact on my life and I could never thank you enough. I spent months investigating four companies and the procedure. The three companies that I checked out before didn’t make me feel 100% confident. Then I arrived at your office. After that, I booked my procedure for the following week. The staff made me feel important and at ease. They answered question after question without hesitation. They assured me there was no pain with the procedure and they were right!
Dr. Wallerstein was excellent and led me through the surgery by talking and telling me everything he was going to do. That made a huge difference! I couldn’t believe I could see after only 2 hours. When I went back the next morning, I was told that my eye sight was better than 20/20! Wow! I also must comment on the atmosphere and cleanliness of your office! Top rate! I don’t know how to begin to thank you for the miracle that you gave me—perfect vision. I am so very pleased with the results.
I was very apprehensive of having the procedure done, and procrastinated over a year before I got up enough nerve to do it—and I am so pleased. So, if you ever have any clients who are afraid of the procedure please refer them to me.
The first week after the procedure, upon awakening, I would automatically look on my night table for my glasses so that I could see my way to go to the bathroom—and for some strange reason I could see everything perfectly clear—and then I remembered that I had laser correction. It'll be 4 years this November. I have no regrets whatsoever and I tell anyone who wears glasses that I had the surgery...and they should too. I was 6 and 6.5 in both eyes and was told just prior to surgery by my doctor, that it may not be possible to get 20/20. I was O.K. with that. It didn't matter to me as long as I could function to some extent without glasses and do active sports, such as swimming or tobogganing with the kids. Anything was better than what I had. Well, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that Dr. Cohen was able to give me 20/20 vision and today I enjoy life without glasses and do many active things. I feel better about myself and look great for 43. Thanks.

Dear LASIK MD and Dr. Bashour,
It has only been a week since my eye surgery, but I am so excited! Everyone always talks about how great it is to see the alarm clock in the middle of the night. I personally try to hide from the alarm clock. How about something else? For one, I no longer twist my head around when I have to look at something. I look out of the corner of my eye. Kissing also doesn't require one to twist his head about anymore. What a difference!
I opted for the surgery in order to get into Army flight school. The school requires you to have aggregate vision of 20/20 between the 2 eyes (corrected) and no less than 20/50 in each eye uncorrected. Well, my left eye is 20/25 and my right varies between 20/10 and 20/15, depending on the lighting. Not bad at all. Better than glasses for the past 21 years.
My thanks go out to Dr. Bashour and the LASIK team. The surgery was quick, painless, and just a miracle, in my eyes. Thank you for all you did for me!

I had the LASIK surgery on both eyes on October 31st, 2003. It was the best thing I ever did!!!!! My vision prior to surgery was pretty bad; I couldn’t see more than 2-3 feet away. I remember sitting in the waiting room with my glasses on and pulling them down and everyone around me was a blur, and the TV, forget it. 15 minutes after the procedure as I again sat in the waiting room I could see, there was a little blurriness from the medicine, but for the most part I COULD SEE!!!!!!! The TV was clear, it was unbelievable!!!!!
The folks at LASIK MD were just wonderful. Everyone was so nice and explained everything to me so clearly. I felt very comfortable and secure with these people. The whole procedure was about 10 minutes. The doctor talked to me while he performed the surgery and before I knew it I was all done. No pain, no side effects, just an all around wonderful experience. I would definitely recommend LASIK MD to everyone. One of my favorite things to do now is to tell people I had this procedure done, and I always, always recommend they go to LASIK MD. Again, this was the best thing I've ever done!!!!!!

Two years ago, August 2001, I made the decision to have
LASIK surgery at LASIK MD. The doctor did an excellent job. It
was well worth the trip. Through extensive testing he discovered a
congenital defect in both of my eyes and was able to use special
equipment to perform my surgery with excellent results. My
ophthalmologist examined my eyes the prerequisite 1 week later and
declared it the most perfect job he had ever seen! He told me that
if he hadn't known that I had had the surgery he would have had a
hard time seeing any evidence of it. He also said that the surgeon
who performed my surgery was exceptionally skilled. Thank you LASIK
