LASIK MD Laser Eye Surgery – Bausch & Lomb Z100 Laser
The new Z100 is new generation laser eye
technology from Bausch & Lomb. It allows for accurate
and safe laser vision correction today. It is the upgraded
version of the
Bausch & Lomb 217z.
By removing less corneal tissue, this laser surgery
technology increases the procedure’s
safety. It is also twice as fast, leading to greater accuracy.
The Bausch & Lomb Z100 also allows for vision correction of a
wider range of patients, including those who may have been
previously deemed non-candidates for laser eye surgery. The laser
is also capable of larger treatment zones for people with larger
pupils.
While most vision correction lasers flatten the cornea when they
remove tissue, vision correction with the Bausch & Lomb Z100
results in a corneal shape that is closer to the normal curvature
of a healthy eye, for a better quality of both day and
