Educational Background

Dr. Stephen Brodovsky completed his undergraduate and medical degree at the University of Manitoba. After three years of practicing emergency medicine at the Grace General Hospital in Winnipeg, he decided to specialize in ophthalmology. He completed his residency at Queen’s University, where he served as chief resident. He continued with a post-doctoral fellowship in cornea and external disease at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital in association with Melbourne University in Melbourne, Australia.


Refractive Experience

Doctor Brodovsky maintains a private practice in Winnipeg where he focuses on corneal, cataract and refractive surgery. Doctor Brodovsky is also an assistant professor at the University of Manitoba in the Department of Ophthalmology. He has been performing LASIK and PRK since 2000.

Doctor Brodovsky also has an interest in international ophthalmology. He has worked overseas in Indonesia and Nepal. He recently joined the volunteer faculty for Orbis and travelled to Ethiopia to train a local ophthalmologist in corneal transplantation and cataract surgery.


Accomplishments and Awards

Doctor Brodovsky has participated in various research projects and has published articles in peer-reviewed journals. He has also given presentations at various events and ophthalmology conferences.
