Keratome and Corneal Abrasions
The Zero Compression Keratome is a device used during LASIK vision
correction to decrease the occurrence of corneal epithelial
abrasions (“scratches”). This new and improved version
of the
Bausch & Lomb Hansatome offers
significant benefits to patients. There is a decreased risk of
corneal abrasions. In addition, thinner flaps can be created for
patients with thin corneas, large pupils or high prescriptions.
